For over five years, Charnay Brandon and her wellness company, Sincerely a Healing Soul, have been empowering individuals to prioritize their health and well-being through the Water Commitment Challenge. This transformative initiative encourages participants to commit to drinking more water daily—a simple but powerful step toward improving overall health, boosting energy, and enhancing mental clarity.

The Water Commitment Challenge isn't just about hydration; it's a holistic journey that blends self-care with mindful living. Charnay believes drinking more water is an easy, accessible, and deeply impactful way for individuals to reconnect with their bodies and take charge of their health.

About the Challenge

The 21-Day Water Commitment Challenge is a structured yet simple program that asks participants to commit to drinking an adequate amount of water each day for three weeks. While this may sound straightforward, the challenge goes beyond just hydration; it’s about cultivating mindfulness, consistency, and self-care while embracing the powerful benefits of hydration on the body and mind.

From August 16th to September 4th, we’ll commit to drinking more water and building one healthy habit for 21 days. Your $10 donation helps provide resources and programs for youth in foster care, while your personal commitment builds a stronger, healthier you.

How It Works

For 21 days, participants are asked to follow these key steps:

Daily Hydration Goal: Participants set and commit to a specific daily water intake (typically 64-100 oz, depending on personal goals and needs).

Track Progress: Using a daily journal or app, participants create a post and share their water intake, noting how it makes them feel physically and emotionally throughout the challenge.

Mindful Practices: Throughout the challenge, Charnay integrates mindfulness practices like guided reflections, affirmations, and mindful eating to support participants in building holistic, healthy habits.

Community Support: Participants connect with others in a supportive group environment, sharing their experiences, celebrating victories, and encouraging each other to stay committed. Join our gratitude text group to help you stay positive.

Why 21 Days?

Research suggests that it takes about 21 days to form a new habit, making this time frame ideal for helping participants build the consistent habit of drinking more water. It’s enough time to see physical changes and reflect on how hydration affects your mental clarity, energy, mood, and overall health.

My Story

I started this challenge while healing from a 6-year journey with depression. In those days, even getting out of bed felt impossible. I made a promise to myself: Drink one bottle of water a day.

One bottle turned into three. Three bottles turned into eight. That small act created a new pathway in my brain, my mind became clearer, my energy returned, and I began to take my life back. Drinking water gave me the strength to fight my depression and reminded me that I was worth pouring into.

That’s why this challenge matters to me. It’s not just about water, it’s about building habits that help you reclaim your energy, your mind, and your life. And when you join, you’re also helping the Foster Care Chamber of Commerce pour into our youth through mentorship, resources, and community support.

Why It Works

Charnay’s approach to the 21-Day Water Commitment Challenge emphasizes not only hydration but also mindfulness and accountability. By incorporating guided journaling, positive affirmations, and group support, participants are encouraged to view hydration as part of a larger, holistic wellness journey.

The challenge is designed to help participants reflect on their progress, stay motivated, and deepen their self-care practices. It also creates a community of like-minded individuals striving to prioritize their health and build sustainable wellness habits together.

At Sincerely a Healing Soul, we believe that wellness extends beyond the individual to the entire community. That's why we’re excited to launch our Affirmation Water Bottle initiative, a simple yet powerful way to make hydration meaningful while giving back to those in need.

For every Affirmation Water Bottle sold, we donate a case of water to a local youth or elder organization. This initiative aims to promote physical health while supporting the well-being of underserved members of our community, from children to the elderly.
